Launched in August 2025, the 1890 Legacy Society recognizes donors who have included Savannah State University in their estate plans.
You qualify with a bequest intention of $25,000 or more in a will or trust; by naming SSU the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account; with a charitable gift annuity; or by deeding real estate or personal property to the university.
Members receive a legacy coin and certificate at a special luncheon, and recognition in the Donor Honor Roll once the gift is received. See Ways to Give.
