Transforming futures through philanthropy. Our giving societies recognize donors whose generosity shows a lasting commitment to Savannah State. Yearly recognition is calculated on unrestricted giving during the fiscal year, July 1 to June 30; documented planned gifts are recognized through the 1890 Legacy Society.

The societies

Lifetime, legacy and annual giving.

Richard R. Wright, Sr. Society

Lifetime giving of $100,000 or more. Named for SSU's first president.

1890 Legacy Society

For donors who include SSU in their estate plans - a bequest of $25,000 or more.

President's Circle

President's $10,000+ - Executive $5,000+ - Leadership $2,500+ - Tiger's $1,000+.

President's Club

Tiger Athletics: $1,250 a year, or $1,850 with a guest.
