The Richard R. Wright, Sr. Giving Society recognizes individuals and married couples whose cumulative lifetime giving to Savannah State totals $100,000 or more. Its inaugural class of twenty represents $4.7 million in lifetime philanthropic impact.

Members receive a pin and certificate at the induction luncheon, two meetings a year with the President, recognition at the Annual Scholarship Gala and in the Donor Honor Roll, and an invitation to the presidential tent for a home football game each season.
